7-8 inches of rain overnight, most had 5-6 inches.  We saw one parking lot with water up to the bumpers of trucks.  SuperStore was closed with 8" of water inside.  Still raining this morning so walked across the street to the A & W because (1) it was dry, (2) it was warm, and (3) we were hungry. We started visiting with the early morning coffee klatch and one good samaritan (Lyle Buchacher) offered to drive us to Edmonton (150 mi one-way) to get parts and bring us back. Finally got Brian's car running and on the road at 4:30 pm. To make matters worse, both car engines started sputtering and skipping (bad gas?) so we pulled into a mom-and-pop campground for the night, planning an early start the next morning.
