We got an early start today as we wanted to beat the heat as the forecast called for a high of 91 in Minot! Stopped so Lee could buy a new battery as the old one was 4 or 5 years old and did not have enough oomph to spin the starter – plus Lee didn’t want to have to crank the car every time for the next two months!  Money well spent in his opinion. We did have the luxury of a tail wind for the entire drive, which meant going faster that anticipated even after throttling the car down! It made the 120 miles seem like a breeze.  No new pictures today as they would have been identical to the ones posted yesterday!
