Faced NW winds averaging 17-20 mph virtually all day, which made the going tough. First part of the trip was through hilly country, but from Herman (MN) to Tintah (MN) was a whole different story!  Eighteen (yes 18) mi of perfectly straight and totally flat road!  Not even a small bump as the road was recently repaved.  Easy driving but boring, and little did we know that it would only get worse once we were in ND! Our campground for the night was in the middle of Fargo, but we had no trouble navigating the streets to reach it. We did discover that many of the small towns had no gas stations, so we will need to plan ahead more carefully.  Mechanically, the cars ran well and drew lots of attention, both when we were driving and when we stopped. Splurged and went out for pizza, but when we did, Brians car developed a bad shimmy in the front end. Tightened the shackle bolts once we got back to the campground and that eliminated almost all of his problem.
