We knew that this trip would be an adventure and today's leg certainly reinforced that concept.

For starters, we saw more bear today (10 including 1 grizzly cub) than in the entire trip up. Then at a rest stop we noticed that the trailer hitch on Lee's car was broken (again), so two and a half hours at a welding shop in Watson Lake, we were on our way again better than ever. The only other snag was Lee needed tp replace his fan belt roadside (yes we had several extras along).

 

Once at the campground, the questions began, including from a trio from Germany on holiday, a fellow from Ontario and a couple from Indiana.
