Today was a day of good news and bad news.  Good news first - weather was cool this morning (a welcome break from the upper 80's), the sky was overcast, and the scenery in ND finally changed!  We encountered some gently rolling hills from Minot to the US-Canadian border and lots of curves so evert time we came around a curve or broke over the top of a hill the scenery changed. The bad news was we fought 15-18 mph headwinds all the way, keeping things so cool we broke down and put the side curtains on the T's in order to stay somewhat warm. The only issue with the cars was with Brian's – his boiled over necessitating him adding 2.5 gal of water! Crossing the border was easy after answering the usual questions, so nothing that was not routine. Once we got into Estevan, we stopped at City Hall to inquire about where we could purchase a cell phone as it would be extremely expensive to use our US cell phones in Canada. We found the SaskTel store and after some delay, I walked out with another cell phone and a plan that will allow unlimited calls and texts (but no internet).
