We went farther than originally planned as the initial drive was quite easy, other than some very rough gravel where the road was being reconstructed.  The only challenge was one very long grade up to the mountain just after we left Haynes Junction. Stopped at Cottonwood RV Park, which is situated right on the shore of Klaune Lake. No sooner had we got the camper set-up when the wind picked up and then the rain came. We certainly are getting more than our allotment of rain on the drive north. Hopefully, we will have better conditions on the return trip next month.
