Two very long grades up going over the mountains out of Fairbanks headed south on the Parks highway toward Denali National Park and Preserve. It was a nice drive that had few hills after passing through Nenana. We went on into the park to the Wilderness Access Center to pick up our bus tickets for the tour to the end of the road at Kantishna before going back to Healy and checking into the cabin where we will stay for three nights.
