We hit another milestone today! 6,000 miles but every added mile means one less mile to walk home!

The wind came up about 10:30 last night and really rocked the camper for an hour or two, disturbing our sleep for a bit. Our first stop was the A&W to let the morning coffee klatch know we made it to Fairbanks and were now on our way home. Lyle (the Good Samaritan who gave us a lift to the Model T parts store west of Edmonton back on Day 10) didn't show before we left but a couple of the other regulars were there and said they would pass our greetings on to him.

The wind had calmed somewhat when we got up, but once outside of town we had a strong (20 mph+) tailwind virtually all the way to Saskatoon. Consequently we made very good time and didn't have to push the cars at all. Hopefully we'll be home in 4 more days as it's been a long trip for both of us.
