Finally the day both of us have been looking forward to – the end of our adventure! We did have a little rain (about the time it took us to drive a mile) but nothing of concern. We had a crosswind and cooler temps (low 80's) for much of the drive today so Brian was able to make better time than any of the previous several days.

Finally, after just short of 7,200 miles we pulled in to our rendezvous point in Story City around 1:30 pm. Lee's total miles ended up at 7,209.9! What an adventure!

We'll probably only have one more posting (epilog) that we'll do after a few days of rest and reflection.
