An interesting evening yesterday (end of day 6). A local native, Kelly Tytlandsvik, heard we were at the mall (when I was buying a cell phone to use in Canada) and spent some time trying to catch up with us. We had left the mall by the time he got there, but he heard we were camping but didn't know which one. He finally caught up to us just as we were setting things up for the night. After visiting for a bit, he left and came back in his 1951 Chevy p/u with a reporter from the local newspaper in tow. He even came back later with his wife and pizza. He also made countless phone calls to members of the local antique (anything over 2 years old) car club encouraging them to come check out our cars and campers. All told there must have been a half dozen car club members stop by plus countless other campers.  One older couple were eating at KFC and overheard someone mention us, so of course they had to swing by to see for themselves. We must have visited with over 30 people following our arrival in Estevan, some with some very interesting stories to share.

After a chilly night which made for good sleeping, we hit the road for Moose Jaw. We encountered a head wind during the early going, but it soon shifted to a tail wind as the temperature rose. All in all a great day to be riding in a Model T! The only hiccup was when Lee's muffler came loose but was quickly fixed. The majority of the scenery was a lot like ND with two big exceptions – there were actual curves in the road and we could see mountains off to the west. The only hill of any consequence was to get down to our campsite, Neither of us are looking forward to the climb out in the morning, but it will be good rehearsal for the Rockies!
